About Me

I am a folk horror writer, graphic designer, photographer, and artist, weaving dark folklore and eerie beauty into my work. With over 25 books and 50 published articles, my stories primarily explore the shadows of horror fiction, though I have also written a series of nonfiction books on Deborean Magick.

Nestled in the foothills of the Sierras in Northern California, I share my home with my cat, Dawson, beside a misty lake and whispering woods teeming with spirits. During storms, the wind calls out like an ancient voice, stirring the stories that take root in my mind. It is here, in this liminal space between reality and the unknown, that my art and writing come to life.
